For the past 3 years, 3P Naturals has been working with a local training and employment organization, to help both youth and adults with mental disabilities. Gastown Vocational Services, an initiative of Coastal Health and partially funded by the Province of British Columbia, provides a variety of vocational and educational services to help individuals with mental disabilities integrate into society.
Along with the support of private sector partners, individuals are placed with businesses that then help them develop their skills and self-esteem, by being part of a structured, team environment.
3P Naturals currently employs 4 people through the GVS program; that’s a third of our work force! We are very proud to be part of this program invaluable program, contributing to the community.
